Leading German glove maker KCL joins DSM’s licensing program for Dyneema® fiber18-Sep-07
DSM Dyneema today announced that KCL, a leading German manufacturer of protective gloves, has joined its licensing program. KCL’s participation in the program, which helps ensure the quality of industrial gloves made with ultra-strong Dyneema® polyethylene fiber, attests to DSM Dyneema’s strong commitment to the market. The licensing program sets high standards for abrasion resistance and cut resistance of gloves made with Dyneema® fiber, which are independently tested and, if compliant, are branded “with Dyneema®” to inform customers about their quality.
Dyneema®, the world's strongest fiber™, has become a material of choice for protective gloves in many industrial segments by offering both comfort and protection. By utilizing Dyneema® in its Camapur Dyneema® range 612/618/620/627, KCL can offer its customers superior performance, including durability, breathability and flexibility. As a business, KCL will benefit from this alliance with DSM Dyneema through joint product and market development, joint marketing activities and customer education.
