GELEEN, NETHERLANDS – November 18, 2025 – Avient Protective Materials (APM), the inventor and manufacturer of Dyneema®, has initiated infringement proceedings in Europe at the Unified Patent Court (UPC) to protect its intellectual property rights. The action addresses alleged patent infringement on one of APM's European patents and underscores the company's commitment to safeguarding its innovations for the benefit of customers and end-users.
The UPC will review APM's infringement claim, with a decision expected in one year.
