The Material

Dyneema® is an UHMwPE fiber. DSM invented it 20 years ago and it's been in production since 1990. The fiber is incredibly versatile with virtually limitless applications.

The Dyneema® brand is now recognized as a vital ingredient in a growing variety of applications, and is therefore an extremely valued asset for DSM Dyneema and its licensed partners. However, with this level of success abuse and mis-use of our trademark has become inevitable.  This is a matter DSM Dyneema takes with the utmost seriousness, and we deploy extensive global resources to identify trademark infringements which are vigorously dealt with. more
